Airbus has delivered the first H135 helicopter trainer to the Royal Canadian Air Force as part of a modernization effort. The H135 will enter service as the CT-153 Juno. This acquisition is part of a larger overhaul of Canada's military trainer fleet, including both rotary- and fixed-wing platforms.

France remains committed to the Eurodrone program, a four-nation effort for an uncrewed aerial system, despite removing funding from a military planning document. The acquisition may be delayed, according to an Airbus official. France has reaffirmed its commitment to the program through Airbus, the prime contractor.

Airbus and Tata have completed the maiden flight of the first Indian-made C295 transport aircraft, marking a significant milestone in their 2021 deal to build 56 aircraft for the Indian air force. The test flight took place on June 10 from the Tata-run assembly line in India. A total of 40 C295 transports are set to be built in India under this agreement.

The US is expanding its aircraft and drone capacity at Basa Air Base in the Philippines to monitor the South China Sea and support Manila's defense needs. Construction efforts, approved in 2023, are underway to clear land at the northwest end of the base. The project aims to enhance the base's capabilities, as shown in publicly available satellite imagery.

The French air force's A400M tactical transports will receive an upgraded mission system, enabling them to perform intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance tasks. The upgrade will be installed on part of the fleet via an award from Europe's OCCAR agency. This will enhance the aircraft's capabilities beyond transport.

John Cockerill Defense and Arquus unveiled the FENRIS, a wheeled fire support vehicle, at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris. The vehicle features a 105mm cannon, can carry 36 tank-busting rounds, and has a crew of three. It is also lightweight enough to be transported by an Airbus A400M military transport.
