L3Harris Technologies has delivered the first VC-25B aircraft to the U.S. Air Force, making extensive upgrades on the Boeing 747-8. The new aircraft is part of the Air Force One fleet. L3Harris has successfully completed the delivery of the first upgraded plane.

L3Harris has delivered the first VC-25B presidential transport jet, converted from a Boeing 747-8I business jet, in a 10-month process. The White House has begun retiring the ageing VC-25A jets. This new aircraft will serve as the new Air Force One.

L3Harris is considering Poland as a location for a new hub to convert business jets into military surveillance platforms. The company believes Poland offers strong engineering and technical capabilities, and is eyeing a potential future requirement from Warsaw for such aircraft. A decision is expected soon.

L3Harris and Turkish firm Skydagger are teaming up to co-produce FPV interceptors in the US, which will be integrated with L3Harris' Vampire c-UAS platform. This partnership enables the Vampire platform to be equipped with a small interceptor drone for the first time. The deal aims to enhance the capabilities of the Vampire system in countering unmanned aerial systems.
