The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems a $38.2 million contract modification to overhaul two Mk 45 Mod 4 naval guns. The guns are the main deck guns mounted on the Navy's destroyers and cruisers. The contract is funded through fiscal 2024 shipbuilding money.
