The US Marines used commercial ferries to transport anti-ship missiles and air defense systems across the Philippines during a drill. The 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment worked with Philippine counterparts to move the systems to Calayan Island. The exercise was part of the Kaagapay ng mga Mandirigma ng Dagat drills.
