The US Army has chosen Fort Drum and Fort Campbell as sites for microreactor deployments, with contracts awarded to Westinghouse and BWXT, respectively. The microreactors are part of the Janus program, aiming to provide on-base power. The selected reactors include a 20-megawatt nuclear reactor from BWXT for Fort Campbell.
