Indonesia has decided to drop its plans to co-produce the KF-21 fighter jet, instead considering the purchase of stock warplanes. Officials in Jakarta are also exploring other fighter options beyond the South Korean-made jets.
Germany has canceled its F126 frigate program due to cost and schedule risks, and will instead procure eight MEKO frigates to meet NATO requirements. The decision was made by the German Federal Ministry of Defence, citing significant project delays and foreseeable cost increases. The MEKO frigates will be used for anti-submarine warfare and other naval operations.
