EDGE Group and Leonardo are planning a joint venture to develop and commercialize advanced defence sensors and systems. The partnership will also explore commercial opportunities for the M-346 aircraft. The joint venture aims to manufacture and support these systems.
General Dynamics European Land Systems has agreed to acquire the Faurecia plant in Augsburg, Germany, to expand vehicle production for the EAGLE and PIRANHA programmes. The acquisition is part of GDELS' efforts to increase its production capacity in Germany. The plant will support the production of EAGLE and PIRANHA vehicles.
