Thales and Destinus have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to work together on counter-UAS systems, long-range strike, and ground-based air interception. The partnership aims to enhance NATO's air defence capabilities. This collaboration will focus on developing and producing advanced systems for air defence and counter-drone interceptors.
The UK Ministry of Defence has awarded contracts to develop low-cost interceptors to counter drone threats. Three suppliers will receive £3.16 million to develop the interceptors. The programme is part of a five-nation effort to address mass drone threats.
