The Valiant Shield 2026 exercise has started in the Western Pacific, involving the US, Australia, Japan, Canada, and New Zealand. The exercise includes anti-submarine warfare activities and other drills. It is taking place in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Japan, and at sea around the Mariana Islands Range Complex.
