A UK-based engineering firm, MGI Engineering, has launched the T-022 Vortex, a nearly supersonic combat drone designed to fly with fighter jets. The drone is the first UK-built Autonomous Collaborative Platform of its kind and is more cost-effective than crewed aircraft. It utilizes technology inspired by Formula 1 engineering.
