Türkiye is investing $24 billion in its homegrown Steel Dome air and missile defense project. The funding announcement was made by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the NATO Summit in Ankara. The investment aims to increase Türkiye's defense spending ratio to 3.5 percent by 2030.
