The US Missile Defense Agency awarded Raytheon a $745 million contract to manufacture SM-3 missile interceptors. The deal is funded by the US and Japan and covers the production of Standard Missile-3 Block IIA interceptors. The contract was announced by the Department of War on August 7, 2026.
