The Bundeswehr has identified deficiencies in two major Rheinmetall weapons programs, the Skyranger air defense system and the Schwerer Waffenträger Infanterie armored vehicle. The programs are experiencing delays due to insufficient maturity and quality. The issues were cited in internal Bundeswehr procurement documents.
