Indonesia has begun building its first Scorpène Evolved submarine, with a steel-cutting ceremony at PT PAL's shipyard in Surabaya. The submarine is expected to be delivered in 2032. Senior officials from the Indonesian Navy and Naval Group attended the ceremony.
