The Air Force plans to keep the RQ-4 Global Hawk flying into the 2030s through a support contract with Northrop Grumman. The contract will cover development, modernization, retrofit, and sustainment of the surveillance drone. This move is expected to extend the lifespan of the RQ-4 fleet.
