The first batch of 16 Russian 'Rassvet' satellites has reached its operational orbit and is providing daily communication windows over Ukraine. These windows could allow Russian forces to control their assets in the region. The satellites pass over Ukraine four times a day, with two or three passes being high enough for stable connections.
