Pratt & Whitney is increasing production of its PW1900G engine, with the first engine built in Middletown, Connecticut, set to be delivered this month. The company is expanding its assembly capacity in Connecticut while continuing production in Mirabel, near Montreal. This move aims to boost production of the smallest variants of its geared turbofan family.
