The US Army successfully tested a new missile-armed drone during Project Convergence-Capstone 6, a large-scale experimentation event. The drone was part of a networked strike sequence, where reconnaissance drones located and identified a threat before the weaponized drone engaged it. The test was hosted at Fort Irwin, California.
