Saronic, a maritime defense technology company, has announced plans to build a new $3.2 billion shipyard in Brownsville, Texas. The shipyard, called Port Alpha, will focus on constructing both defense and commercial vessels, including autonomous boats. The project is expected to start construction this year and will supersize Saronic's nautical ambitions.
