The US has transferred four Ocean Aero Triton autonomous underwater and surface vehicles to the Philippine Navy's drone unit. The transfer was made through a US-funded initiative and the vehicles were handed over at Naval Operating Base Subic Bay. The Tritons are powered by wind and solar energy.
