Russia has started building a new multipurpose nuclear-powered submarine called Murmansk, which will be capable of carrying hypersonic firepower. The submarine has a tonnage of 13,800 tons and marks another development in Russia's naval capabilities. The Murmansk submarine is expected to enhance Russia's underwater warfare capabilities.
