The NATO Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Force supported the temporary deployment of a Belgian MQ-9B remotely piloted aircraft to Italian Air Force Base Sigonella. This deployment occurred between April and July 2026 and was part of Alliance maritime surveillance missions. The MQ-9B is a key asset for ISR operations.
