Lockheed Martin and the US Navy have tested an AI-powered sonar system on MH-60R helicopters to enhance undersea threat detection. The system was demonstrated during RIMPAC 2026 and is designed to be rapidly retrainable. This technology aims to accelerate the detection of submarine threats.
