Leidos has been awarded a potential $270 million contract by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to supply medium energy mobile systems (MEMS). The company will deliver up to 100 MEMS over a five-year ordering period to support border security efforts. MEMS will be used to screen vehicles and cargo for contraband, weapons, and currency.
