Russia's United Shipbuilding Corporation has started constructing a new Lada-class submarine, named Maloyaroslavets, for the Russian Navy. The submarine is the sixth in the Lada series and was designed by the Rubin Design Bureau. A keel-laying ceremony was held at the Admiralty Shipyards to mark the beginning of construction.
