The Republic of Korea Navy has selected GE Aerospace to supply 12 LM2500+G4 marine gas turbine engines for its next-generation KDDX destroyer project. The engines will power six ships, with each destroyer carrying two engines in a full electric propulsion configuration. This deal marks a significant partnership between GE Aerospace and the ROK Navy for the KDDX program.
