The US Air Force has raised the ceiling on an existing Foreign Military Sales agreement for the KC-46A Pegasus tanker from $5.7 billion to $19.1 billion. This contract modification worth $13.4 billion allows for more overseas sales of the aerial refueling tanker. The deal gives the Air Force more room to sell the tanker internationally.
The 305th Air Mobility Wing and 108th Wing received the 26th KC-46A Pegasus aircraft, expanding mission capabilities and partnership. The KC-46A replaces the KC-10 Extender, operated by the 305th AMW, and marks the completion of the fleet at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ.
