  US Army Picks Hanwha's K9 Howitzer

  The US Army has selected Hanwha Defense USA's K9 Mobile Howitzer to build prototypes for a new self-propelled 155mm howitzer, aiming to replace its towed M777s with a more mobile and longer-range artillery system. The decision comes after decades of searching for a new mobile howitzer. Hanwha's K9MH will undergo testing as a potential future replacement for the M777 artillery.
