Swedish JAS 39 Gripen fighters will support the surveillance and protection of Finland's airspace under a deeper operational partnership between Helsinki and Stockholm. This partnership aims to strengthen NATO's eastern flank. The cooperation enhances the territorial integrity of Finland.
