The US Army's Improved Turbine Engine Program (ITEP) has achieved a significant milestone with the T901 engine, which will power the next-generation UH-60 Black Hawk. The engine aims to deliver 3,000 shaft-horsepower, a 50% increase, while maintaining the same physical footprint as the current T700 engine. This upgrade will provide more reach and payload capacity while using less fuel.
