US Navy Funds USS Clinton Carrier

The US Navy has awarded Huntington Ingalls Industries $336.1 million to begin buying materials for the future USS William J. Clinton, the fifth Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carrier. The contract covers advance procurement for materials with long manufacturing lead times.
