Bye Aerospace's eFlyer 2, an all-electric pilot-training aircraft, has received a special airworthiness certificate from the FAA, allowing it to begin flight testing. The aircraft is powered by a Safran ENGINeUS motor and is marketed for pilot training. This approval brings the eFlyer 2 closer to its first flight.
