  US Navy Expands CPS Deployment

  The US Navy is working to expand the deployment methods of its Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) hypersonics, aiming to launch from new Vertical Launch Systems (VLS) and containers. The effort is led by the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Strategic Systems Programs, which oversees the development and sustainment of submarine-launched ballistic missiles. This expansion is expected to increase production rates of CPS hypersonics.
