  US Army Buys More Arctic Combat Vehicles

  The US Army has awarded a $35 million contract modification to BAE Systems for additional production of the Cold Weather All-Terrain Vehicle, a tracked and amphibious troop carrier. The vehicle is designed to operate in areas where wheeled vehicles cannot, making it ideal for Arctic combat. The contract was awarded by the Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal, Michigan.
