The Wyoming Air National Guard has formed its first C-130J Super Hercules cadre, consisting of four Airmen, to prepare for the aircraft's arrival in 2028. The crew is currently undergoing training to bring the new airframe and its aerial firefighting mission to Cheyenne. The C-130J is expected to arrive in early 2028.
The 37th Airlift Squadron successfully landed a C-130J Super Hercules on Highway 44 outside of Särestad, Sweden, marking the command's first road landing for the aircraft.
