Albania has signed a contract with Turkish state manufacturer MKE to purchase six BORAN 105mm towed howitzers and an undisclosed quantity of ammunition. This deal makes Albania the third country to acquire Turkey's domestically built BORAN howitzer. The purchase comes ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara.
