The last AV-8B Harrier built for the USMC has been retired and demilitarized, with the aircraft being transported to the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola. This event marks the end of an era for the Harrier II Vertical/Short Take-Off Landing jet. The retirement took place in June 2026.
