The US has transferred unmanned vessels to the Philippines as part of its asymmetric aid program, with plans to transfer attack drones by 2027. The program aims to equip the Philippines with capabilities to monitor and deter Beijing in the South China Sea. Four Ocean Aero Triton autonomous underwater and surface vehicles were delivered to the Philippine Navy.
