The US Navy has awarded a $149.6 million contract to General Dynamics NASSCO for the maintenance and modernization of the USS Pinckney destroyer. The contract covers a scheduled overhaul of the ship, which is part of the Navy's effort to upgrade its Flight IIA Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. The work is expected to be completed by 2028.
