The US Air Force has partnered with Longshot to test hypersonic technology using a ground-based launcher, while Australia has successfully tested a ground-based air defense system with a live SM-2 missile launch. The Australian test also marked the first use of an Australian-made radar with the US Navy's Aegis Combat System.
