Saronic, a maker of autonomous vessels, has announced plans to build a new $3 billion shipyard in Brownsville, Texas. The shipyard, called Port Alpha, will be the most advanced in the world and will focus on both defense and commercial vessels. The project is expected to create up to 10,000 jobs over the next 10 years.
